I would like to know more about coding a medicare annual & subsequent visit comparing to a regular physical which we all know medicare doesn't cover. They cover 1 welcome to medicare physical & then starts with the annual or subsequent visits. Thanks, Joann

Jo-Anne Sheehan, CPC, CPC-I, the three codes for Medicare Physicals in the June 2015 Q&A Webinar. The codes are G0402, G0438, and G0439. JoAnne explained the rules for using each code and what the Welcome to Medicare visit, and the Annual Wellness Visit (initial and subsequent) encompass.
